About
“I have always loved words. Writing grounds me, while allowing me to roam. In workshops listening to others or when writing alone, I am always amazed at what comes up to find us. Where writing takes us. How we listen. How our inner worlds evolve and deepen.” – Summer Hardinge
Workshop Leader

Her work may be found in Stonecoast Review, Beltway Poetry Quarterly, Literary Mama, The Rappahannock Review, Peregrine, The Ekphrastic Review, and upcoming in Midway Journal and Broad River Review. Workshops
Are you someone who desires to gather and shape thoughts and images, play with rhythm and voice, develop character or narrator? Are you looking for a supportive writing community?
All workshops provide opportunity to generate new work, fine tune craft and take away techniques to revisit previous work. On my screen porch, in my living room or on Zoom, we write. From a variety of prompts we imagine, invent, remember. We try on new forms, listen to accurately to others for what engages us, and provide supportive feedback.

Join me once a month for several hours of playful experimentation with a respect for all voices using the AWA method, where all writing is treated as art. Writers with all levels of experience and genres are welcome.
