Workshop Structure
All are encouraged to leave any assumptions about writing and writers aside to write freely.
First
The leader welcomes the group, provides a variety of prompts and invites the participants to write for a period of time.
Then
The writers are encouraged to read aloud their works listening for "what is strong?", "what do you remember?"
Last
The group comes together to focus on voice, style, narrator, structure, while celebrating the positives of the writing.

"Summer’s workshops are a place of sanctuary and deep creativity. She creates a warm and encouraging space for writing and offers thoughtful and rich prompts to spark imagination and memory. I always leave feeling nourished, uplifted and part of a supportive writing community."
